Bill Stergiou

Bill Stergiou currently leads a Data Science Team at Nationwide Insurance, focusing on pricing excess and surplus, specialty, and farm risks. Prior to Nationwide, Bill was at CNA for 14 years where he started and led a specialty lines data science group, started and led a third-party data group, led the claim data science group and built standard commercial models. Prior to this, Bill worked at a number of consulting firms where he designed strategies and built models to enable companies to become more profitable. Bill holds a Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society, earned his bachelors degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences from Northwestern University and masters degree in Statistics from Columbia University.
