Mike Talbert

Mike Talbert is an accomplished technical leader and innovator with over 30 years of experience in hardware and software architecture, specializing in customer premise equipment (CPE) solutions and open-source software platforms. As Senior Technical Director at Wistron NeWeb Corporation, he drives standardization of open-source software, focusing on enhancing subscriber quality of experience through cutting-edge architecture and system-level design. Previously, he held key leadership roles at Verizon Communications, where he pioneered 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Wi-Fi, and Self-Optimizing Networks (SON) initiatives, earning 22 patents for his groundbreaking work. An influential voice in the tech community, Mike serves as Vice President of the Broadband Forum and has held leadership roles within the MoCA Alliance.
