Mitchell Sevcik is a seasoned Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) executive and the Owner of SQC Advisory, where he provides strategic consulting in quality, compliance, and integrated management systems. With over 20 years of global leadership experience across the energy, EPC, and infrastructure sectors, Mitchell specializes in helping organizations strengthen governance, enhance operational performance, and build sustainable compliance frameworks. Prior to launching SQC Advisory, Mitchell served as Director of QHSE & Compliance at IHI Energy Solutions, where he led enterprise-wide strategy and governance across complex, multinational projects. In this role, he was a trusted advisor to executive leadership and Boards of Directors, delivering high-impact initiatives that aligned quality, safety, and regulatory compliance with business objectives. He has extensive experience designing and implementing ISO 9001-based systems, while also driving early adoption of emerging standards such as ISO 42001 for AI governance. Mitchell’s career also includes leadership roles with KBR and other major organizations, where he directed QA/QC programs, led global audit and compliance initiatives, and supported large-scale LNG and petrochemical projects. He is recognized for his ability to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into practical, results-driven systems that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer outcomes. A compelling speaker and executive communicator, Mitchell brings a pragmatic, real-world perspective to topics such as integrated management systems, risk-based thinking, audit readiness, and quality-driven performance. He is known for fostering cultures of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across diverse teams and environments. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
