I am a technically skilled and innovation-driven DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY with 20+ years of tenure in helping businesses to reduce costs and improve productivity by steering ambitious transformation initiatives. With expertise in Cloud Migrations, Microservices, Technology Modernization, and application development using Agile Methodologies, I am well suited to successfully scaling technically challenging digital projects for businesses. During my tenure with Verizon Wireless, I successfully lead the development and eventual launch of the new VZ2.0 Partner Channel Portal. This was a large-scale project, aimed at upgrading the legacy partner portal. This project required me to coordinate the technical requirements of business units company-wide, to manage successful integration. The project also required understanding the requirements of existing Channel Partner APIs. The project’s eventual launch was a success and saw an increase in Channel Partner productivity of 80% due to new enhanced automation features, and development within the Salesforce Experience Cloud. The new Partner Portal saw an expansion in business to include the wireless division and a huge increase in purchasing opportunities. Additionally, Channel Partner numbers saw an uptick due to the ease of use in the new application system. In the end, this project’s success resulted in a projected revenue increase of $100 million and an EBITA of $60 million. For my efforts, I received the Technologist Award and was given recognition by the company CIO. The success of this project would not have been possible without my team. I am a believer in empowering my employees. Rather than dictating my needs to them, I hope that my employees have the autonomy to make their own decisions. It is my goal to identify my team's strengths and work alongside them to develop their professional goals. My methodology is servant leadership and treating no two team members differently. This strategy has been effective in managing teams both on and offshore. I am a natural innovator with a passion for technology. My goal is to continue learning, build successful teams, and help businesses improve their products through progressive transformational improvements.
