About The Speaker

Ron Ozminkowski

Ronald J Ozminkowski, PhD is an internationally recognized executive leader, consultant, writer, and chief scientist, whose research has been viewed by people in over 100 countries. Ron is a strategic thought leader, exemplified by over 160 peer-reviewed and other professional publications, and an equal number of professional conference presentations. These report investigations of access to care, social determinants of health and wellbeing, and evaluations of the impact of clinical, pharmaceutical, and social programs designed to improve health and healthcare. Many of these investigations report results of predictive models or evaluation work dependent upon conceptual models operationalized with machine learning applied to insurance industry data. Ron’s recent work on the use of generative models was published as a series of articles in Open Data Science, devoted to the utility of generative models to rapidly investigate new topics of interest to executives and others. The use case investigated there involved several aspects related to large data centers and their alternatives, such as those used by data scientists and engineers in the insurance industry. However, the concepts illustrated are applicable to many other situations as well. Ron’s collaborators and clients have included experts in The White House, federal and state agencies, life sciences companies, employers and insurers, pharmaceutical companies, industry groups, and health systems. He is honored to serve as a panel member for this event.
