Vincent Fontana

Vincent Fontana is the Product Specialist Lead for HSBC WPB US & Americas. Having joined HSBC in early 2017, Vincent leads the Investment Wealth and Solutions (IWS) Product Specialists across Alternatives, Structured Products, Mutual Funds & ETFs, Equity, Fixed Income, Discretionary solutions, Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) solutions and Custody. He spearheads the delivery of WPB investment solutions across the product spectrum to both domestic and offshore investors. Working closely with our global investment teams positioned across the world, Vincent generates investment themes and high conviction trade ideas in an effort to provide portfolio solutions and bespoke investment strategies for our client base. In addition, Vincent works in unison with our trading team across the fixed income platform and co-chairs the Regional Investment Committee, recommending both sectors and single line names in concert with the bank’s overarching market views. Vincent has over 20 years’ experience in financial services gained at Merrill Lynch and BNY Mellon, in roles covering banking, portfolio management, and investment services, with a particular focus on fixed income investing strategies. Most recently, he was a Product Specialist within BNY Mellon’s Asset Management Division providing fixed income product support for the North American institutional and private client base across investment grade and high yield credit, emerging market debt, global credit, and currency alpha/active hedging investment strategies. Vincent holds an MBA in Financial Instruments and Markets form New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS (Honors) in Business Management from Cornell University. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Vincent maintains Series 7 and Series 63 licensing with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is an Associated Person (series 3) with the National Futures Association. Vince also serves as an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business graduate program.
